Lenaa’D is a fashion label founded by Helena Diangana, a London-based fashion designer and textile artist with roots in Bas-Congo, Democratic Republic of The Congo (DRC).
Helena's childhood was surrounded by the vibrant colours and intricate patterns of Batik, Wax, Java and Basin fabrics, as well as the art of embroidery and stitching. While initially drawn to fashion by the allure of the catwalks, Helena studied dressmaking and styling in Belgium before pursuing fashion design in the United Kingdom.

The name "Lenaa’D" is a fusion of Helena's nickname, her first name, and her family name, serving as a reflection of her African heritage and multicultural upbringing. Inspired by the Bantu ethnic group and everyday life, the brand's creations seamlessly blend historical elements with a modern flair, mirroring Helena's cultural origins. Drawing from the rich tapestry of the Bantu ethnic group, natural materials like leather, seashells, raffia, and feathers are frequently incorporated into the designs. Each of these pieces is one-of-a-kind and meticulously crafted to order, using the finest quality materials.

Currently, Lenaa’D specialises in designing a range of accessories, including wraps, bags, scarves, men's ties, and appliqué T-shirts.
Helena hopes those wearing the designs of Lenaa’D feel empowered, confident, and in her own words, “fantastique”.
